My name is Nathan Theriault. The constant call of the wild has kept me in the woods all my life. For this, the ability to have encounters with a large variety of wildlife, while learning and enjoying the feeling of freedom. I have been a registered Maine Guide since I was 18 years old and now a Pilot and part of Mossy Oaks Prostaff Team. While guiding I obtained a business degree at the University of Maine at Fort Kent. My guiding is primarily for moose and bear hunting. From there the hunt begins recording and hunting many species of wildlife while having fun and working with a great team of guides, videographers and editors as well as Cabelas Outdoor Adventure Team. Wildlife management practices I hold close to my heart. With this having an ability to trap has been a benefit in learning and managing. I also do recreational wildlife tours to show in detail the wilds of the great, Gods country.

Much of my time is spent ground scouting, reading my Cudde back cameras, and flying over the vast forested areas. My search for the giants of the north has enabled me to be able to video many bear, moose and other wildlife in their natural state. Photographing bears over baits has given me the chance to learn about them along with other animals and to also learn the tricks and tools of the trade. Great times I found start in the woods.

Old Mill Marina Outfitters is built on the love for the outdoors and the love of being able to succeed in areas that take a lot of time and knowledge. OMM Outfitters is the hunting division of the Old Mill Marina, Inc. where the primary focus is the tradition of hunting. The Marina is designed for fishing and recreational guiding as well as boat rentals, tours, RV sites, and fuel for boats. The Marina has been in operation since 2003 and has been a great resource for bringing enjoyment to the many people who come and visit.

OMM’s staffers have gained the confidence and know how to achieve and meet the goals of the people that will be hunting and viewing wildlife with us.

In the last few years, OMM has acquired land access for hunting and wildlife tours on over 20,000 acres of privately owned land. OMM works with landowners who find it beneficial to control access to the property. Controlled access by the use of gates, and sometimes posting by permission, only helps ensure that the property is used in an environmentally safe way, and maintains its value. The ability to be able to use such a great resource has not only been a blessing for my sports but also for the landowners by having OMM watching out for their property.

Having had great success over the last eight years in each area is partly due to superior landowner relations and respect for ourlandowners. But, first and foremost, success comes with lots of prayer and scouting.

In 2007, the Historic Eagle Lake Sporting Camps, located six miles to the East on Eagle Lake were purchased and are now part of our outdoor adventure package. The Camps are located within a 23,000 acre State Reserve. The Reserve is maintained and regulated by the State and includes a few first-come, first-serve camp sites. This wilderness contains many opportunities to view wildlife and experience a true sense of the outdoors. With many historic ties from logging with horse and buggy, to Theodore Roosevelt’s hunting adventures, the Camps are full of history and abundant in adventures for everyone.

The Camps were built back in the 1800’s with the intention of having fun in the outdoors by hunting, fishing, and just being able to access the outdoors. Even though they are older the same focus still works today. Come enjoy the Camps any time. We offer beautiful cabins, great food, laughs, many memories, and much history. With the restaurant, and a full bar, you will be catered to with perfection.
